![]() Do you feel you can't be happy until you have the perfect house, car, kids? Until you have the perfect body, hair, skin, emotions? Or do you feel guilty that you "should be" a certain way and you feel you're not? Sometimes this happens to those of us who have put a lot of work into healing and trying to change our lives for the better. We "Should" on ourselves with expectations thinking our lives should be more perfect. Or I shouldn't have a bad day because I've done so much personal work on myself. Sometimes even feeling embarrassed about it. Well we are not perfect human beings, we just aren't. We are full of flaws. And the beauty of this life is that we don't need to be perfect. Just doing our best. We can recognize our flaws when we have those moments of struggle, our down times. And that is what true healing is about. Our lives mirror the tide of an ocean. There is an ebb and a flow. Times of when its doing very well and times when something difficult happens. You will know if you have gotten to a true, deep, profound place of healing, when you recognize you are feeling down and you can manage the ebb in your life, the little (or big) hiccup. You use your tools and your issue doesn't seem that bad. The issue seemed way heavier before you started your healing process. Being in a place of healing and beyond is a wonderful, peaceful place to be. You have faith that everything works out for a reason. You are calm when issues arise and you love your life. You are confident in your abilities. You know you are not perfect and are not striving for a perfect life but for peace and contentment when you can. You love yourself anyway, even if you have a bad day. Eventually you will start to manifest more flow than ebb in your life. If you continue to focus more on what you want and less on what you don't want. But, please be kind to yourself. Love yourself. And accept yourself for where you are at. I love the saying, where you are at, is where you are at. Sometimes that's taking 1 step backward and then 2 steps forward. You say, "it is what it is" you make any adjustments you can to shift your mood and you move on with your day. Healing is a continual process but, that's when you know you have arrived at that lusciously, rich, calm, soothing, vibrating healing place. Sometimes its a feeling of almost a humming in your energy. Striving to get there is a wonderful goal. And reaching that place is possible for each of us, if we do the work. So keep on a truck'n ahead, follow those inspirations you feel. Take care of yourself in what ever way feels good and right to you. And you'll get there.
